Milestones: What is today Hotel Schwarzschmied, was once the site of the forge of Lana’s blacksmith. The Dissertori family created the modern-day hotel with inventiveness and renewed inspiration. The new Garden wing is the latest addition to the hotel, with its Garden Rooms and Garden Suite, and large south-facing balconies. On the ground floor there is La Fucina [the forge] a slow food restaurant with windowed kitchen and pasta production area. Next to the new Conference Room there’s the Schwarzschmied Lounge Bar. For those in search of peace and quiet, there’s a reading room in the Schwarzbauerhof annex. Out front under the vines, there are two outdoor relaxation zones.
Art and Culture: Artistic inspiration and the art of living complement each other harmoniously at our family-run hotel. The art of well-being and contemplation is celebrated in our wellness spa, as well as by the menus created by our chef or also by the contemporary artworks displayed on the walls of the hotel interior. The installations are the works of local artists.
