Functional training is a form of training that uses complex exercises to improve the quality of movement and thus prevent injuries.
Functional training involves movements in which several muscles have to work together. In contrast to strength training, the focus is not on building up muscles: the focus is on stabilising the body and making the muscular system, muscle attachments, tendons and joints fit for everyday life or for intensive sporting stress. A core element of functional training is therefore the improvement of core stability and coordination as a foundation for injury-free strength and cardio training.

Functional training is for anyone who wants to train their body awareness, improve their fitness or enhance their performance in certain sports.

Functional Training takes place every Sunday from 8.30 to 9.30 a.m. at the Hotel Schwarzschmied.
