Regular yoga practice is also considered one of the essential elements for bringing body and soul into harmony at the Schwarzschmied. Therefore, two daily classes taught by yoga teacher Stefanie Dariz and alternating teachers from various yoga disciplines are integral to the hotel’s programme. Retreats with different focuses are also regularly planned. And for moments in between, those who want to practise yoga on their own can make use of the yoga mat in the room.

Stefanie Dariz

"A space to feel, enjoy and experience limits"

Stefanie Dariz's yoga path began in 2001 in Maui, USA. Her six-month experience at Myra Lewin's yoga centre "Hale Pule" sparked her enthusiasm and sensitivity for yoga, which she has never let go since. After stints with different teachers, styles and practices, she trained with Dona Holleman - "Centered Yoga" in 2006. Since 2000 she has also been intensively perfectioning various massage techniques and specialises in holistic bodywork.

Stefan has been doing yoga since 2005 and finally started his holistic, integral yoga training. He is also a meditation teacher and has been studying yoga scriptures intensively for a long time. His yoga classes include yoga philosophy, pranayama, asanas and vinyasas, meditation and savasana: "We practice mindfulness and those who are willing to open up can have deep experiences and come a little closer to themselves. Love, happiness and inner peace lie within you, yoga is the way there."

Linda Schwarz

Linda's passion for movement is combined with her desire to develop herself every day. Yoga allows her to combine these two aspects. Modern spirituality has become an integral part of her everyday life, just like nature, which accompanies and grounds her every day. "I navigate myself through my inner practice as well as my environment, ideas and drive. My vision is to bring a sense of consciousness to individuals of today and show them that it can be applied to all aspects of life."

Linda's passion for movement is combined with her desire to develop herself every day. Yoga allows her to combine these two aspects. Johanna Kompatscher

Johanna is a passionate Shiatsu practionar. She brings her deep and holistic knowledge of the human body into her YIN yoga classes. She accompanies students with her calm manner into their inner being and invites them on a journey that leads to peace and strength. Children are her passion and so she knows how to accompany our little ones in children's yoga with a lot of love, fun and patience.

Johanna is a passionate Shiatsu practionar. She brings her deep and holistic knowledge of the human body into her YIN yoga classes. She accompanies students with her calm manner into their inner being and invites them on a journey that leads to peace and strength. Children are her passion and so she knows how to accompany our little ones in children's yoga with a lot of love, fun and patience.

Hanni Thöni

Hanni is a trained Prana Vinyasa Yoga teacher according to Shiva Rea Yoga Alliance, Yin Yoga teacher according to Paul Grilley and has trainings in Thai Yoga Massage, Abhyanga Ayurveda Massage and Sound Therapy. Her focus is to balance the qualities of Yin and Yang and to connect them in the yoga classes. Hanni grew up in the mountains and thus carries the love of nature within her. She shares this love with her students during retreats and yoga walks. Powerful physical exercises, clear concentration and meditation bring us to lightness, strength and love of life.

Arrive, find peace, recharge

After the inhalation, the exhalation follows. After the day, comes the night. After activity, comes relaxation. These are the rhythms of a natural life. The first two we cannot influence at will. We breathe in and out, the day and the night alternate again and again, but we do not always let a relaxation break follow an active time. Continuous activity and performance are not good for humans. Our nervous system is constantly in flight or attack mode, our bodily functions are reduced, and at some point we are simply exhausted and tired. This is why it is absolutely necessary, especially for people who have a lot on their agenda, to find a rhythm that allows for breaks to relax and rest. For a healthy, powerful life.
