Tea Master in Residence: Taku Okamoto

1. - 8. March 2026

Cha-Do – the Way of Tea is an invitation to step away from everyday life for a moment and return to what truly matters. Together with Taku Okamoto, co-founder of the Oboro teahouse in Kyoto, we create a space for mindfulness, sensory awareness, and quiet connection.

During this week, Taku will offer three matcha workshops and two mindful tea ceremonies at Hotel Schwarzschmied. Each session is designed to awaken the senses, clear the mind, and cultivate a deep connection between people, nature, and the present moment. Tea becomes more than a drink — it becomes a way of life.

The sessions will be held in English and no prior experience is required. The participation is also open for external guests.
