In some of the hotel rooms, guests can now become part of a work of art.

Already in 2015, South Tyrolean artist Hannes Egger created a thematically curated library that spans across 26 rooms in the hotel as a cohesive artwork. In a similar concept, guests can now interact with wall drawings in the new rooms of the main building as well as the rooftop suites, becoming part of the artwork themselves. Upon entering the rooms, Egger invites guests to create performative art by following his illustrated action prompts. The unique poses encourage a shift in perspective, creating unexpected dialogues with the room and its furnishings.

The underlying idea behind Egger’s art is the interaction with the spaces we share, thereby stepping into an imaginative world of art. A small book, provided in the rooms, offers creative suggestions, explains the concept behind the artwork, and invites guests to take on new positions. What starts as a purely functional hotel room is thereby transformed by its guests into a dynamic, performative artwork. 

At the opening of the artworks, dancer Silvia Morandi brought the drawings to life by following the artist's instructions. She created performance art, initiating a dialogue with the space and offering different perspectives on the hotel room. With each new guest, this performance art can be recreated in different ways, creating a constant dialogue between the artwork and their viewers.
