Basic Space London

Jaime Hepburn

Jaime is the founder of Basic Space and leads her classes with clarity, sensitivity and thoughtful intention. With nearly ten years of teaching experience and more than 5,000 hours taught, she has immersed herself in Ashtanga, Vinyasa, Rocket and Yin Yoga, and is currently deepening her practice through Katonah Yoga training. In her classes, fluid movement meets grounded, strength-focused sequences, creating a balance between dynamism and stability. At the centre of her teaching is an invitation to connect more deeply with the body and to discover one’s own path on the mat.

Jess Hearn

Jess’ practice brings together experience, sensitivity and thoughtful guidance. She invites her students to slow down and move with intention, creating space to experience the practice intuitively and in harmony with the body. At the heart of her classes are balance, presence and the connection between strength and ease - especially in more challenging moments. Through calm, flowing movement and playful transitions, she creates a practice that feels both grounding and energising.

Kelly Thomas

Kelly teaches with warmth and sees yoga as a creative space for healing, reconnecting and finding a sense of calm within body and mind. Inspired by playful, mindful and functional movement, her classes invite students to focus less on outward form and more on how movement feels in the body. At the centre of her practice are connection and awareness - to yourself, to your breath and to those around you.

Tabitha Avanzato

Tabitha focuses on creating a deep connection between body and mind through precise guidance, creative sequencing and thoughtfully structured flows. Her classes are open to all levels, with postures built step by step before unfolding into their full expression. Through clear instruction, mindful variations and an open approach, she creates a space where students often achieve more than they expected. And yet, the focus is never the destination, but the journey itself.
