For a few days, Lana becomes the jazz capital of South Tyrol. Streets, squares, and venues are filled with sounds ranging from classic swing to contemporary jazz interpretations. In 2026, Lana Meets Jazz once again transforms our village into a stage for jazz in all its facets.

The festival has long been one of the region’s cultural highlights. Over several days, national and international musicians perform at various locations throughout Lana - from small cafés and bistros to unique cultural venues under the open sky.

With free admission to most events, it brings together an exciting mix of established jazz greats, regional musicians, and emerging talents each year. Summer evenings, a glass of wine, great music, and the relaxed atmosphere of the village make the festival a truly special experience.

Helga Plankensteiner and Michael Lösch have been shaping the country’s jazz scene for decades and have been organizing the Lana Jazz Festival for 14 years. Supporting young musical talent was the original driving force behind the festival and remains a central focus of their work to this day.
