Our nervous system accompanies every experience we have. It influences how we breathe and move, how we respond to stress, how well we recover, and whether we feel safe, connected and alive. This retreat invites you to gain a deeper understanding of your nervous system and to actively support its capacity for regulation.
You will learn simple, effective techniques that can easily be integrated into your everyday life. We will focus in particular on the vagus nerve and explore how breath, movement, body awareness and intentional periods of rest influence our autonomic nervous system.
In the mornings, we practise guided Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga, while the late-afternoon sessions are calmer and more exploratory. Breathing techniques, somatic exercises, meditation and healing movements offer a direct way to connect with and experience your nervous system.
The aim is not to remain calm and balanced at all times. A well-regulated nervous system is flexible: it can mobilise energy when needed, cope with challenges and then return to a state of rest and connection – creating lasting positive change.
