Slow Cooking - Mindful Cooking Class with Daniel
Mindful Cooking – Conscious Enjoyment, Holistic Nourishment
Food is more than just sustenance. In this workshop, you’ll learn how to carefully select and prepare the finest regional ingredients in a way that brings out their full flavour. Together, we will create a three-course menu and take the time to enjoy it mindfully. A slow cooking experience rooted in local produce, refined with selected, worldly aromas.
As a trained chef, Daniel honed his craft in several top kitchens, refining it further over the years. His cuisine is precise, light, sensual – and always mindful. In addition to his training and work across Europe, culinary journeys took him to Asia, where he explored the secrets of local cuisines. These experiences now shape his cooking, which not only delights the palate but deepens the awareness of the connection between food and body.
With mindfulness and health at the centre, this workshop offers light, wholesome dishes made from fresh garden vegetables grown on the adjoining fields of the Arnica Acker. Daniel’s subtle yet expressive style brings together freshness, spice, and conscious nourishment – an experience that feeds both body and soul.
What to expect:
- A guided tour through the fields of the Arnica Acker
- A homemade three-course Slow Food menu including drinks
- Fundamentals of light and healthy garden and spice-based cuisine
- An introduction to mindful food and cooking culture
