Marja is a yoga teacher and systemic coach for positive psychology based in Berlin. In her holistically designed classes, Marja combines flowing movements that promote mobility and flexibility with elements that enhance personal wellbeing. What matters most to her is that participants arrive consciously in the present moment, fully perceive what is, and learn to engage with their body and mind. While her classes are not particularly focused on physical strength, they foster mental resilience, clarity, and a deeper connection to the body.

What role does yoga play in your life?
Yoga has fundamentally changed my life – it’s so much more than just the time on the mat. Through the conscious connection with my body and mind, I’ve gained a deeper understanding of who I am, what I want, and what steps will lead me there. Along the way, I’ve integrated valuable routines into my everyday life, met inspiring people, and let go of old patterns.

What do you hope to share with your students through your classes?
Mental strength develops when we begin to perceive ourselves consciously – with everything that makes us who we are. By aligning with our values, we lay the foundation for a fulfilling life. It’s especially important to me to support people on their journey, to encourage their personal growth, and to give them the confidence that they are already enough. In each class, my students discover a little more of what truly nourishes them – on the mat, in daily life, and in their personal journey.

What would you describe as the core of your philosophy?
A central element of my classes is the connection between movement and insights from positive psychology. With my background as a systemic coach, I bring impulses for a fulfilling and successful life directly onto the mat. Positive psychology is by no means about toxic positivity – rather, it helps us recognize the full spectrum of emotions, consciously use our strengths and values, and deepen our understanding of what gives our lives meaning through the relationships we build.

Our next Retreats

Give yourself a few days to simply be – just as you are. Self-acceptance as a powerful tool for inner and outer peace. Allow yourself to recharge in a nourishing and beautiful setting, so you can return to the world and help make it more nourishing and beautiful too.

Yoga is a holistic science and philosophy that supports you in becoming more grounded and empowered – through movement, breath, reflection, and meditation – so you can be present in every moment.

Sinah’s yoga is strong, dynamic, and intelligently designed for body and mind. In the evening, her classes become quieter, grounding, and soothing for the nervous system and the mind. Woven throughout are meditation, breathwork, lymphatic activation, and the occasional spontaneous dance party.

Through BodyMindTherapy, you’ll reconnect with yourself, others, and our planet. Experience life in all its richness – raw, vibrant, and full of love.

As autumn slowly comes to an end, this retreat invites you to withdraw into a cocoon — to recharge, reflect, and reconnect with your inner strength. It offers you a safe and nourishing space to breathe deeply, let go, and come home to yourself.

In the elegant and peaceful setting of Hotel Schwarzschmied in Lana (South Tyrol), you create room for conscious retreat, mindful movement, and soul-nourishing stillness. A time just for you. Beyond to-do lists and outside demands.

Mornings begin with grounding, empowering movement that connects you to your body, breath, and inner resilience. Evenings invite you into a calming space of Yin Yoga, Yoga Nidra, gentle Reiki, and reflective journaling prompts — for silence, regeneration, and heart connection.

Highlight: On Saturday evening, we gather by the fire for a lovingly guided cacao ceremony and a fire ritual of release. Everything you no longer wish to carry into winter may be offered to the flames. We say goodbye to what was and open ourselves to what is yet to come — a magical evening full of depth, connection, and inner radiance.

A journey to more strength, clarity, and inner freedom. How does it feel when your mind becomes clear, your body feels strong, and every movement makes sense? When your breath flows deeply, your thoughts settle, and inner strength builds? This is exactly what Beyond Yoga Dynamics (BYD) is about. It’s about understanding your nervous system, resolving stress at its root, and returning home stronger.

Each session is designed to use movement as a powerful key to greater stability and mental clarity. The body learns, the mind follows. This is not just an abstract concept, but a tangible transformation.

This retreat is more than just a break – it is the beginning of a new path. If you’re ready to go deeper, to discover movement as a gateway to your inner balance, and to return home with renewed strength, clarity, and a hypnotic flow state, then this retreat is for you.
